TERRELL RIFLE & PISTOL CLUB
PRESENTS
22 cal Benchrest Rimfire Rifle – January
In order to participate, you must be a member of Terrell Rifle and Pistol Club or a guest of a participating member.
Break out those .22 caliber rimfire target rifles and match grade ammunition.
When: Sunday January 22, 2023. Weather permitting. Always 4th Sunday UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.
Time: 12 noon start, finish 2pm or when done. I expect to be set up around 11am.
What: Timed rimfire rifle shoot, benchrest, you provide your own rifle, rifle rest or sandbags, ammo, chamber flag, and wind flags.
- .22 Caliber Rimfire rifles only
- Any sights. Iron, scopes etc
- Distance 50 yards , shot on the 100 yard range
Event 1 – Scoped rifles
25 rounds shot on a target with 25 bullseyes, 1 shot per each bullseye. 30 minutes time period for shooting including sighters. The target also has 4 bulls for sighting in. The target is the IBS Rimfire 50 Yard target.
Event 2 – Aperture or iron sights, need at least 5 to pay out Lewis Class.
20 rounds shot on a target with 4 bullseyes, 5 shots per each bullseye. 30 minutes time period for shooting plus sighters. The target also has 1 bull for sighting in. The target is the NRA Rimfire 50 Yard target A-23/5.
Member Cost: $5 to play per event
Non-member cost: $15 per event
We will use the Lewis Class System to determine class winners. Ties divide.
Just some good friendly competition is planned.
